“People wandering the streets of Philadelphia may be surprised to see brand new solar-studded trash cans being installed on the sidewalks. These new landfill-crunching compacting bins are entirely powered by the sun and are able to accept close to eight times as much waste as a regular trash can. Pretty cool, we thought – especially once we found out that they are calling the new bins Big Bellys and that they stand to save the city close to 12 million dollars over 10 years!”

This video from Kid 606 is a pretty cool example of mixed multimedia. I’m currently working on finding out who made it. (let me know if you know) Here is “Mr. Wobble’s Nightmare”:

The comic world of Brad Neely is fucking awesome. Through his personal creative outlet Creased Comics, Neely releases original animated comics as parts of series and as one-offs. Here is an episode from his series ‘I Am Baby Cakes’. I highly suggest watching all of the episodes (available on his site and on his youtube channel).
Neely is probably most famous for his unauthorized re-narration of the first Harry Potter series called ‘Wizard People, Dear Reader’. After Warner Brothers continually professed disinterest in the gig, Neely decided to cease major screenings of the movie and for now the alternative audio track is available for download for free on illegal-art.org – I posted about his wizardry back in march.

Neely’s youtube hit ‘George Washington’, an animated musical comedy portraying the truth about America’s first president as a british-children-hating badass motherfucker, is also what helped popularized his talent.
Along with ‘I Am Baby Cakes’, Neely has other animated comic web series including ‘Professor Brothers’, ‘China, IL.’ (which was Neely’s first television run back in May of 2008 on Adult Swim) and ‘America Now’. All of Neely’s videos, comics, and art – at least the ones he still owns the rights to – are available for viewing (for promotional purposes only) on his website, Creased Comics.
