I ran across Christina Christoforou’s portfolio/website today after seeing the president’s day New York Times “Op-Art” above, aptly titled “Heads of State”.

Christina Christoforou is a London-based illustrator and artist. Her drawings are loose and colorful and full of vivid awesomeness. Here are some interesting drawings for the programme of “Spring Awakening”, commissioned by the National Theater of Greece, 2008:

Middleboop’s Digital Arts Cover Friday, January 29th, 2010

Gordon Reid over at Middleboop recently had the opportunity to design the cover of Digital Arts (below) – A very appropriate illustration–from concept to color pallate–and just plain kickass. Check out middleboop.com for more info or to see what else he’s been up to.

Haniboi’s “Thingamabob” Poster Series Friday, January 29th, 2010

Haniboi is a graphic designer/illustrator based in London – The poster series below, appropriately(?) titled “Thingamabob”, was recently in Print Club London and has a really great Christoph Niemann-esque vibe going on (in my opinion).
